"The Trouble with us"
Taken from a song by Marcus Marr and Nick Murphy, “The trouble with us” involves a duality and a conflict that can be taken negatively or positively. A bitter sweet situation.
Project overview:
Given an audio excerpt from a longer talk on a specific idea, analyze the narrative and develop a concept, story and design approach to communicate the implied meaning of selected phrases (beats) from the transcript.

Styleframes based on audio from the RSA Short of the 2015 talk by David Brooks, ‘Character in the Selfie Age’
Took a hand drawn style approach using symmetric compositions, limited color palette representing main subjects (Blue - Social Media influence, Green - Narcissism, Pink - Morality) and a silhouetted figure as our main character.
All done in Photoshop.
